Support the university's outreach work
The UK Student Recruitment have teamed up with The Adecco Group and recently launched a new outreach programme aimed at young people aged 13-15 in schools across the country.
They are seeking expressions of interest for alumni to feature in online workshops where volunteers will have an opportunity to share their career experiences with young people and also co-facilitate activities within the workshops. The workshops will take place online via Zoom either in a 2-hour session or a 4-hour virtual half-day session and will take place during the school day (9am-3pm). The workshops will focus on skills and career pathways in the following sectors: engineering, construction, creative industries and business services.
The ideal volunteer is somebody happy to discuss their career journey and help support young people thinking about their future. Full training will be delivered by The Adecco Group and will cover an overview of the programme, content of the virtual workshops and tips and support for facilitating.
